First avatar
I made my first avatar today. I used Gimp. Once again I cheated and got the pic off a Club Penguin Comic.

Back to school blues
I'm going back to school in a couple of days - moving up from Primary! Luckily I'm with all my friends (except one, she's going to private). I have all my stuff ready - new bag, books, usb stick, stationary etc. Oh well, today I'm going to a friend's house (sup raloay?!) and that should take my mind off things a bit :-)

'Weird Al' Yankovic
This is HILARIOUS. Seriously it's worth the 11 minutes of your time.
I DID NOT MAKE THIS VID. It was made by the user 'cotter89'.
My first pic using layers!!!
Now that may not sound too great in writing, but let me tell you this:
The following picture took me (in total, I did it over a couple of days) about 3 or 4 hours.
There was no base sketch - I did it FROM SCRATCH on the computer.
I don't use a tablet.
I did it all freehand - no curve tools or fancy brushes.
Without a guide, I figured out how to make an image transparent and how to use layers.
I used GIMP version 2.2 (or something like that)
Let me tell you this... it is BLOODY HARD TO DO.
So here is the pic... hope you like it. (sorry about bad quality.)

I was inspired by the Olympic spirit in Club Penguin, Team Red vs. Team Blue. As you can tell, I'm a team Red fan :-D
