Guitarist

Just a sketch, but I am just trying out a new program for my art. I might edit this pic like I did with the Naruto one. When I get the hang of it I might post the result.

What I think:

Proportions: OK
Shading: good in most places, one or two bad spots
Guitar: Hrm, no strings. D'OH!
Fingers: Are they SUPPOSED to bend that way?!

Overall: 8/10, one of my best sketches but could still do with some tweaking here and there.
Please comment and tell me what you think.

Naruto

OK, I've found this anime on YouTube called Naruto and I'm really into it. So into it that I decided to spend my WHOLE WEEKEND DRAWING NARUTO!!!!!!!!! Here it is:



This is what I copied off (I couldn't be bothered to draw the kunai cos I'm lazy). Posting the picture will totally humiliate me because I'm useless at art, but here's the pic anyway.

It was VERY VERY COMPLICATED to do. I had to draw a base sketch, scan it in, and create more layers than I really needed. But hey, layers make the world go round. I used GIMP for this and no fancy brushes. (Golly, I make it sound like I know what I know what I'm doing. I wish)

EDIT: It doesn't lower the quality. We can all breathe a sigh of relief.

FAKE EDIT: Lol, enlarge the image and you can see the pencil lines from the sketch. Heh heh heh.
